cooking up successThe Granville Inn is proud to announce the promotion of two of our hardworking associates. Kyle Williams and Jacob Schirtzinger have worked passionately and earned their promotions to become the latest Sous Chefs to help lead this extraordinary culinary team . This is an amazing opportunity for both Kyle and Jacob as they will be working alongside the incredibly talented and renowned Executive Chef, Chad Lavely. Both Kyle and Jacob are alumni from the Columbus Culinary Institute and have worked in the kitchen (the heart of the Granville Inn) for over five years.

Kyle comes to us from Lancaster, Ohio, about 40 minutes south of Granville. Kyle is a seafood lover. His favorite meal to prepare is scallops, while his favorite meal to eat always involves shrimp.

Jacob, on the other hand, is more of a surf and turf kind of guy, preferring to prepare a great steak and eat the lobster. He resides only a few minutes from Granville, in Newark, Ohio.

Both Kyle & Jacob are looking forward to “spicing it up”  in their new culinary positions by contributing their skills to the already phenomenal reputation of the restaurant at The Granville Inn.   Columbus Hospitality Management congratulates these gentlemen on this well-deserved achievement and we encourage everyone to take in the culinary wonders and unforgettable experience you can only find at The Granville Inn.
